Nance Wise
Nance (aka Tater) holds a RYT 500 certification and has been practicing yoga for 12 years. In 2015, she was trained in Ashtanga yoga by Beryl Bender Birch. Since then she continues to work on enjoying the present moment – embracing the journey up the mountain, not the summit – that settling into a posture is more important than perfecting it. Her vinyasa style classes are a playful yet challenging mix of flow, balance, heart openers and let’s not forget core – with options for yogis of all levels. Nance is currently taking a year long course in embodied leadership through Humanity Shared: practicing mindfulness and self-regulation; fostering the courage to face fears; and identifying her true self, so to live an authentic and connected life. She yearns to share this with her community, recovering addicts, family & friends. She believes that awe-inspiring life skills can be learned through one’s practice and presence, on and off the mat.
Nance is a Registered Nurse who loves hiking with family in the Adirondacks, backcountry skiing, gardening & rug hooking. She lives in Dorset with her husband, three young adult children and two English Setters (who have mean downward facing dogs).
Steve Hallock
Steve brings an insatiable energy, rocking music, and a booming voice that doesn't require a microphone to each one of his indoor cycling classes. With choreography that includes sprints, hill climbs, and endurance, there's something for every rider, from the novice to the expert. His classes guarantee a fun, yet challenging ride that builds strength and leaves copious amounts of sweat on the floor. If you're looking for a great way to start your weekend, check out Steve on Friday and Saturday mornings.
Heidi Chamberlain
Heidi brings her love of music, spinning and sweating to the bike with her upbeat rides. Rap, reggae and rock combined with upper body, core and varying levels of speed and difficulty make her classes a challenge and fun. Heidi wants her riders feel strong and proud about the work they are doing! Heidi spends her time off the bike with her friends, family and doggies in Vermont and nyc.
Julie Ring
Julie crafts each class choreographing to current and past music titles in all genres. Her style leans towards quick pick-ups and timed work but does allow for some more endurance pushes. With NASM and Schwinn indoor cycling Certification to teach spin, yoga, and small groups, Julie has had fun crafting combo classes that focus on a short spin followed by off-bike strength and stretching. Julie recently earned a Master of Science from UVM in physical activity and wellness. The degree enhances her research skills to incorporate evidence-based material to further bolster her lesson plans. When she isn’t teaching she enjoys volunteering at the local food cupboard, traveling, spending time with her family/friends, and tripod pooch drie.
Dina Shepherd
Dina started the Barre workout over 20 years ago and instantly fell in love. She became certified at the Saw Mill Club in NY, where she taught for many years. Dina teaches a Lotte Berk style class that engages your core and tones your entire body. She focuses on proper technique which builds strength and confidence. Her classes are energetic and rewarding!
When not teaching, Dina enjoys tennis, yoga, spending time with her family and walking her dog, Grizzly.
Kate Czaplinski
Certified in Barre Above, Kate was an instructor at a studio in Newtown, CT for three years, before moving to Vermont in 2021 (a dream come true!). She is also trained in TRX and HIIT methods, which she incorporates into her signature style of barre, which she calls Tabata & Tone. Kate takes special pride in her class playlists and variety of movement, creating an eclectic mix that makes time fly, even when we're working hard. When not teaching barre, Kate is a Development & Communications Director at a Connecticut nonprofit and, when not at work, she loves hiking, gardening and trashy reality shows.
Christie Bronstein
